General Regulations-continued,

Military Books and Maps.

1. With reference to Clause 19, Army Circulars, 1886, February the following have been published, and will be added to the Last of Works promulgated by the appendix to that clause, which will be amended accordingly :---

Examination Papers, Admission to Royal Military Academy, and for First Class Appointments to Royal Marine Ar- tillery, November and December, 1885 0 0 9

2. The following book will be removed from the List:-

Fortification, Military Engineering, &c.; Text Book of Part II., 1880.

3. Paragraph 7, Clause 19, Army Circulars, 1886, should read as follows

Maps published by the Ordnance Survey Depart- ment or by the War Office, will be supplied as 8000 as they can be obtained, under similar conditions to those specified above for books, and paid for in a similar manner; but the application for them must be sent to the Deputy Quarter-Masier-General, Intelligence Branch, War Office, and the Paymaster receiving the amount will credit the payment in his next Pay List, under the head of Her Majesty's Stationery Office, Sale of Maps" in the case of Ordnance Survey Maps, and under "Vote 16, Appropriation in Aid," in all other cases.

1. The following Army Form has been approved :--- CI. 34.

Army Form 771, Expenditure Voucher-Fuel February and Light."

2. The following Army Forms have been cancelled :—

Army Forma G 953" Accoutrements and Pioneers' appointments (Reserve Forces, except Yeomanry and Volunteers), Requisition for." Army Form G 982 will be used in its stead.

Army Form G 1080, "Certificate in support of expenditure of Candles for Magazine Lamps, Royal Artillery Districts and Sub-districts."

3. The designation of Army Form G 1029, will in future be-

"Paint, &c.-Artillery, Fort or Battery; Requisi- tion for."
